I got this while trying to post in /x/, it did go through the second try:

The server took too long to submit your post. Your post was probably still submitted. If it wasn't, we might be experiencing issues right now – please try your post again later. Error information:

{"readyState":0,"status":0,"statusText":"error"}

Just thought you'd like to know since there isn't a dedicated bug report thread.

Why? There is no active development of the board software.

I've almost given up on actually maintain parts of the board.
Worked on a couple, but with what Seph gave us access to (on the public repo) was trash and never responded to our requests.

Which sucks, because the site was made due to how flawed lc was, but I feel that it wasn't doing any better here

Heck I fixed gallery view, and you should know how fucked it remains on browsers

Does Arisuchan have a clear/bright theme?
I hate dark themes because I can't see my keyboard on the dark and when every other site is bright it hurts to look at arisuchan.

I'm sure someone could whip up a userstyles for it pretty fast, but why use bright theme alice? Muscle memory

It looks like vp9 webms don't have thumbnails: >>>/cult/1673 & >>>/cult/1656

I think this is where thumbnails for webms are generated:
https://github.com/arisu-dev/arisuchan/blob/master/inc/lib/webm/ffmpeg.php#L43

Since it uses ffmpeg and the command seems to be correct, simply updating ffmpeg will probably fix it.

I tried listening to the radio with firefox, chrome and vlc but it doesn't work.

 No.1785

I think the radio is down for the moment. Maybe their waiting for a new website or further experimentation with the software.

 No.1786

The radio has been down for a while, last time I check they're looking for people with the experience of running a internet radio station to take over it.

>The radio has been down for a while, last time I check they're looking for people with the experience of running a internet radio station to take over it.
I'm not looking for anyone to take over it. I was just inviting anyone with experience in this area to help me migrate from Shoutcast to Icecast. I had already set up a VPS with unmetered bandwidth and uploaded all of the music to it (in FLAC), but once I started reading the documentation for setting up Icecast my eyes just glossed over it and said fuck it. I really enjoyed hosting the radio, but I've been too busy to support it. While arisuchan may be my favorite project, the radio is only an auxiliary service and is not my priority. If anyone would like to help set it up, you can reach me on IRC. Thanks.

How can we help to grow this community?
Lainchan and Arisuchan have always been my preferred places to be because I see so much potential in its future and I'm sure many people here see that potential too.

The admins are open, there's projects and other mediums to talk to other anons here and I love it. But as much as I love this place, I don't spend a lot of time on it because of how slow pace the userbase is. Because of this lack some potential to create bigger and even more interesting threads and projects because we lack the diverse experience to create them and support them.

This is more of a question to the admins and mods, how would you like to see this place grow?

Anyone and everyone post your ideas to nourish Arisu's roots

Just post more. I've seen many boards die out because nobody would post, since nobody else was posting. If you take the effort to post, people will reply.

Yes, we can all post more, but we could also try to find more users. Where can we find more people like the Alice described on the info page?

https://legacy.arisuchan.jp/infornography.php#faq

I'm sure there are many people out there that would love this board, but just don't know about it yet.

Exactly what i was thinking. Posting more does increase the life of the website, but it's not consistent.

I do often find myself posting in threads instead of creating the threads, I want to see. I'll make a couple and see how they garter with attention.

Why don't you delete the soykafposts from the glasses qts thread?
>>>/r/1237

They were clearly posted in malice, to provoke other users and they do not contribute to the thread in any way. If they don't like the thread they can just hide it. Please delete the posts so we can continue sharing cute glasses animes.

So I am looking for a new japanese instance admin around #Mastodon community and after when I find it I will share the contact with you: can I send you info via IRC over #Tor or via email or posting here, what do you prefer?

We are currently seeking volunteers from the community to join the staff and help moderate the board. New moderators will be assigned an "initiate" account with limited permissions, but will be expected to adhere to the same requirements we have of all staff members, namely having an active presence in the staff IRC channel and consistent activity moderating the boards. If you are interested in an interview, please contact me on IRC. Thank you.

That's about the best we can do with a pure CSS solution. The markup of the templates on vichan is awful. It will be fixed when we revise the templates.
