Got eth/btc besides that, all in all my crypto portfolio is profitable in terms of fiat, but in terms of btc value it's down -15% after the recent "altcrash". Only 33% of my portfolio is BTC (more like 40% after altcoins crashed, and ETH is ~15%) which makes me a little worried, but I'm waiting for a big dip to put in a lot of fiat. Holding eth till some kind of pump after the update.

I've learned a lot since acquiring those bags though so I guess it's not all that bad.

Patrick Dai of qtum is a scammer. He scammed bitbay in the past but deny it while David, the main dev of Bitbay confirms it is true and I trust David as he is a man of ethics. His associates were apparently scammers too. I would be careful with that coin.

Let me warm you that ETH is a ticking bomb. It uses PoW like Bitcoin so it has the same problems than it. It is also more difficult to parse. And, the worst of the worst is that it is fucking bloated to death.

Right now a full node is fucking 350gb and its growth rate keeps getting faster.
This will lead to two options: either it will crash at some point, either it will get centralized.

I'm a programmer and refactoring is infinitely easier than designing the code in the first place. If they get all they're supposed to get to work, I don't think it'll make a difference if it's slow. I think of this as investing in tech and not necessarily in a user experience. They could write it in minecraft redstone switches for all I care.

Yeah I got qtum & expanse on rumors, they went up 20%, and then I was without internet for a week and forgot to sell them. Qtum might have some steam in its scam train so whatever.

When I got them I kind of had the illusion they're going somewhere, I still think BAT & RDD are going to be things, BAT is an actual product that's improving, and RDD is STEEM for normal people, and STEEM seems to be doing well. MAID lays ever silent but it still exists so whatever. Bitbay has soykaf marketing you have to agree with me, a google search of the name shows some soykafty exchange as the first result that HAD to have impact on its value.

Not gonna invest in any altcoins in the near future, it's just not fun for me. What I'm trying to do is make some TA tools&bots for myself, that has more correlation with my skill set.

Regarding bitbay's marketing I agree but recently they are getting their soykaf together because they hired new guys and are starting real marketing work.
Although it is still problematic that the polish exchange of the same name shows up first. They are working on it to change that. I still am bullish because the tech is too good, so is the roadmap too and they are getting started in marketing.

I was thinking of throwing a very little amount of money in some altcoins to see what happens. For now i was thinking about buying some Lisk, cause people is stupid and in theory with java it should be simplier to use, Verge because it can be used in darknet and between the less valued ones is one of those which can grow more, and Ethereum cause i hope it will take the place of BTC when it falls and because it can be used to buy EOS. Anyway i'm a total noob so i'm quito open to your reccomendations, lain.
Remember that i have little starting capital, so i prefer more risk and more opportunities to security.
