negative, I rub a potato against my forehead to access the Wired.
when my forehead gets sore though i guess i use this thing. that fuarking monitor cost way too much of my head earned shillings and if it weren't so luxurious to sit in front of and use I'd have committed seppuku from the shame of blowing enough money to buy a used car on it…
little toshiba nb100 has a 2tb hdd grafted to the back of the lcd lid using velcro and normally works as one of my offsite backup mirrors, it's only on my desk at the moment to do a full replication before it goes back to work to leach off their fiber connection.
not pictured; a couple of rpi's and a thinkpad x201, and my x240 work machine.
I honestly don't think I will. I like portability. Of course I'll make sure that any laptop I get will run Linux perfectly. But I really think I'm done with desktops.
You can have both. In fact I would think most lains do. If you had a choice to have both, would you still opt to only use a laptop?
Someone else here.
I gradually turned my desktop into a Windows-only console. Indeed I see no use to use anything but a well rounded Linux laptop for all my work and non-gaming needs.
I might closet the desktop altogether once the GPU can't keep up since I barely play games nowadays anyway.
Fuck I love this site's CSS.
I think I would still choose to be laptop only. It just suits my particular needs and lifestyle at the moment.
what do you right , cunt
>>784>webcam isnt covered by bandaid
0/10 apply yourself shazbot
That's because the webcam is disconnected. Get on my level.
I know a guy who covers his just because he doesn't want people telling him about it.
Ever since I stopped playing games I just use a soykafty used laptop and don't have any problems.
If I need lots of processing power, cloud services or "borrowed" desktops work for that purpose.
your keyboard is cute :3
I dig it, but…
why didn't you just get 2 monitors
why is there a plastic knife on your desk
>>792>why is there a plastic knife on your desk
you don't really want to ask this question
I like my tada68, check https://lainchan.jp/tech/res/55.html

I had dual screens (triple actually) previously and have dual screens at work. A full uninterrupted 3440x1440 in resolution is fucking glorious and in my experience has been vastly superior for almost all tasks. I would fight and kill to keep that monitor. I love it and it loves me.>>792>>793
lololol I train in knife fighting (amongst many other things) and having something with a low cost-of-fuckup to keep my hands moving without scaring people or leaking cranberry juice everywhere with a sharp knife is nice.
Wow, I3wm looks so cool when you have a big screen.
super cozy dood, making me want to stop using my desktop and just use my x201+monitors for all my work, would be super cozy.

Is it better than usual one?>Foxbox sticker
Did you order something or just liked that sticker?
Trackballs are comfy.
I ordered a custom mousepad, but I quit gaming recently so I reduce back to no mousepad/trackball.
soykaf taste confirmed.
I see these graphs on a soykaf tone of economic presentation and trade talks… What is the website?
Nice Force of Will mat!
candle graphs, any serious financial site will be using them. each bar on the graph is essentially a box plot showing you min/max values, start and end values for a fixed time period. very handy for getting a feel for the 'pressure' being applied.
I have that same Dell wireless keyboard. It's in my closet now since I got a newer Microsoft keyboard.
Updated and cleaned from this. Also sold the iMac and bought more HDDs for my NAS since this picture was taken.
I want to leave this place but I don't know how.
This thread is borderline porn
Are we finally starting this thread up again?
what browser is that?
your battle station makes me feel claustrophobic.
It's Lynx, works in console
Anon's friend here. Ive got like 5 screens. Its great tbh. Can code, read documentation, and watch gooktoons at the same time.
I have some security and paranoia issues about actually posting what my battlestation looks like in this site. Is there some reason why this seems to be the thing that people enjoy doing?
Mostly for bragging, people are usually proud of showing off what they spend 1000's of dollars into, no matter what it is
because its fun for them
