If someone trusted would volunteer to host an IRC server, we would most definitely appreciate it. We already have lains working on building matrix.lainchan.jp, social.lainchan.jp, and xmpp.lainchan.jp independent from the administration here. I don't see why we can't add IRC to that list. Please let us know if anyone is interested. Thank you.
