meh, the linux logo also is jus plain old. Thats not a problem, but if we look at like, the logos macos or windows were using back then they look off too. They changed with the times though, linux, at least the kernel, didnt really.

`at least the kernel, didnt really' was meant to differentiate kernel vs distros and other stuff (redhat for example cares about and does an ok job with marketing itself).
