ITT: Drop event flyers. Adding a short description of what to expect music genre wise is a good thing, too.
On pic related:
>Are you tired of mainstream? You want to go outside and break all the rules? Does heavy experimental sound like Drum 'n' Bass, Jungle, Hard DnB, Breakcore make your heart beat faster?>If you answered these questions with 'yes', then you are right here.

Cool that this thread has gotten a few replies. Here are some flyers for events in Berlin that will take place today.
>>1608Such events take place quite regularly. Just keep an ear on the ground. I'm going to post a few links tomorrow.
>>1609For the same reasons for which Alec Empire is still around? I don't know, ask him.
>>1607A few weeks ago he also played at the Paloma bar, near Kottbusser Tor.

Good old 90s Raves are the best. The old sound certainly has a bit of a comeback lately, sometimes even with some vapor influences like I Hate Models. Great stuff.

People travel to Berlin just to get denied entrance to Berghain, after 4 hours of waiting in line. And they are proud of it zez. So yeah Berlin is a big deal.
No.2096
>>2091Some events posted here don't even take place in Germany (or in meatspace at all), but, yes, it's almost only flyers for parties in Berlin. I wonder why's that.
>>2094I've never waited more than 30 minutes to get into Berghain and it's been only two times, I've attended that venue. Sad souls are those who are willing to wait more than 15 minutes to get into a club. Berlin still has more to offer than that overrated concrete block which had its best nights a long time ago.

Suppose I am in Berlin from 22-27 October. Suggest any events or clubs for that time period. Dont know where else to ask.
>>2096I'm gonna try going to Berghain for the first time Alice. Since you are so keen to dismiss the place, do you know of an alts?
No.2147
>>2130>22-27 October. Suggest any events or clubs for that time periodYou might get a reply not until mid October on that. If you want to give Berghain a try, go for it. Maybe you're going to like it more than me and I don't say it's bad. It's just that alot of the old spirit is gone, you know. If the doorman rejects you and you don't know where else to go, it's only you who's to blame. Here are some alternatives: Griessmuehle, aboutblank, Tresor, Menschmeier, Sysiphos. Also, keep the event's name and a bit of the lineup in your mind when you hit da club. You might get asked about that at the door.

Ah, thank you so much Alice. I'll look all these options up, I trust your judgement.
This means a lot for my first time in Berlin, I'm very grateful.

>>2149Take care when you visit Berlin. Watch your pockets and be prepared to say 'no' quick and clearly. Be careful with whom you hang around, too. I grew up in Berlin and to me barely something bad has happened but that's because I was mostly a gamer, I'm generally a cautious person and I live more than long enough in that town to have it's pulse inside me so that I can intuitively avoid trouble when I sense it.

No.2417
>>2401>>2399Depends on the venue. There's probably a doorman at JamesJune. There's a chance that they won't give too much of a fuck, though, since the event is indeed pretty underground. If you're underage, consider what
>>2402 suggests but keep in mind that it takes a while until the party seriously takes off. The venue won't be filled much with people until at least one o'clock in the night. It's simply the way it is in Berlin. Have a nice, black weekend, mate.

Looks like all the venues closed in Berlin…
No.2730
>>2628Nope, people are just too lazy to post flyers. Maybe there's some legitimacy in your concern post, though. Living in this town, it feels like we are at the endgame in terms of underground nightlife. There are few venues left that are worth visiting and it's only a matter of time until the last tiny bit of Berlin's clubbing scene has disappeared. So don't complain, look out for posters and flyers and go out while you can. Oh, and Berlin has more to offer than Berghain, btw.
No.2731
>>2730Is it laziness or do promoters assume their job is done because they posted on FaceTwitter? Maybe that is laziness too though, or being cheap.
